The Construction Contractor Board will increase the CCB license fee for a two-year license from $260 to $325 beginning July 1, 2010.
“We understand the hardship many contractors are experiencing during this economic downturn,” says Craig P. Smith, CCB Administrator. “Increased fees are an added burden,” he acknowledged.
The agency has not increased licensing fees in seven years. During the housing boon in the fall of 2005, licensing fees were lowered from $295 to $260 for a two-year license.
The CCB remains committed to providing contractors and consumers the resources necessary for successful construction projects
