Member Highlight: The Cronin Company

The Cronin Company was founded in 1878 by P.J. Cronin as a saddle and harness business in downtown Portland.  The company evolved through thirteen decades to become what it is today–one of the Northwest’s leading independent wholesale distributors of fine floor covering products.  Our customer base includes flooring dealers, tile shops and fabricators.

Our roots in the floor covering business go back to 1962.  Current ownership of the company includes forth and fifth generation members of the Cronin family who carry on the time-honored Cronin tradition of integrity, quality, value and service.  Our 230,000 square foot company headquarters, warehouse and general show room are located in Portland on Swan Island. Our showcase ceramic tile and stone show room, s’Tile, is located at the corner of Southeast Martin Luther King Blvd. and Yamhill.  We have Cronin Company branches with warehouses and show rooms in Bend, Eugene and Medford, Oregon, Kent, Tacoma and Spokane, Washington, and we just opened one in Anchorage, Alaska.

Our product lines include unfinished and prefinished hardwood flooring, Burke rubber flooring products, Wilsonart countertop and laminate flooring, Staron quartz slabs, Cronin Stone real stone veneer, ceramic tile, glass mosaic and stone tile, carpet cushion and a complete line of adhesives, sundries, and tools for the installation contractor.

We incorporate eco-friendly green products throughout our product lines to help serve the demand in this ever-growing area.

Our continued success in maintaining long-term relationships with our customers is based on our commitment to fairness and equity in all of our dealings.
